Dahlias

My first few Dahlias have *finally* started to bloom in my garden. Their color is perfect for fall. The bouquet is made up of cat mint, agastache, sage, grasses, zinnia, heuchera, and dahlias. My hands still have the scent of cotton candy from cutting the agastache.

"Bison"
A new painting done in watercolor and gouache.

  2. I'm a huge fan of Dahlias! They always remind me of my grandparents. These are beautiful and even more gorgeous that you grew them yourself! I love all your illustrations Michelle! So talented!

  3. Thank you so much to both of you! I'm thinking I might need to combine the dahlias and bison for a new painting.. such a nice balance!
